Naked Bar Soap Co. showcases the sensual side of natural beauty by creating gorgeous artisan soaps and lovely handcrafted bath and body products.

The term “NAKED” means undisguised, blatant, and devoid of concealment.

Here are 10 Additional Facts about Naked Bar Soap Co.:

Fact #1:

Their soaps are made with a handful of naturally, gorgeous ingredients such as olive oil and coconut oil combined with dollops of creamy shea butter, rich cocoa butter, and other rich and exotic plant butters. Our products are scented mainly with essential oils, a few natural fragrance/essential oils blends, and use natural herbs, florals, and spices for lovely colors.

Fact #2:

Natasha Byrd-Gaylon and Jennifer Peets partnered up and launched Naked Bar Soap Co. in 2013. Through our Black Latina (Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic) roots we shared a cultural bond as well as a love for all thing’s natural beauty and skincare.

Fact #3:

It was their goal to create a brand of natural beauty products reflecting a bit of my subtle sexiness as well as her own bold tongue in cheek personality.

Fact #4:

The Sea Salt Orchid Body Wash is an elegant blend of soft floral notes with a relaxing base of tonka bean, amber, and a hint of musk.

Fact #5:

In the description of our soap ingredient labels we use the term “saponified oils” to represent that the oils have been changed to soap using the process of saponification. Saponification is the chemical reaction created by combining oils or fats with an alkali and water.

Fact #6:

Saponification is complete after the soap mixture has been poured into molds, cut into bars, and allowed to cure for several weeks. Hot Process Soap is actually cooked at a high temperature for an extended period of time to accelerate the saponification process. At Naked Bar Soap Co. we use both the cold process and hot process methods of soap making.

Fact #7:

Their artisan soaps come packaged in shrink-wrap with a sticker label. Salt soaps, glycerin soaps, and bath bombs are also shrink-wrapped to prevent them from “sweating” or losing efficacy, as they are humectants and draw moisture from the air.

Fact #8:

They make a collection of products specifically made for bath time.

Fact #9:

They make all natural facial products. They are handmade in small batches using the finest quality ingredients.

Fact #10:

They have been in Cosmopolitan, Byrdie, Orlando Weekly, Orlando Voyager, and Philanthropy Women.
